CIBPA Bursaries

The CIBPA Bursary Program is open to full time university students at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate studies level that are Canadian citizens, recognized residents of the province of Québec and are of Italian origin. Since its creation in 1961, the CIBPA Bursary Program has granted over 2.5 million dollars to young Italian-Canadians who have achieved academic excellence and have met the established financial assistance criteria. In 2009, thanks to our donors, we collected more than 100.000$, a sum that gave us the possibility to grant 34 bursaries to university students of Italian origin. The Bursary Selection Committee, in selecting the applicants, mainly considers the student's academic performance and financial need.
