dans la Petite-Italie et au Marché Jean-Talon
19 au 25 Mars 2012 : région de Calabre
23 au 29 Avril 2012 : région de la Vénétie
Gourmands et passionnés de cuisine italienne, préparez vos papilles et passez à table ! Les
restaurants et les commerces de la Petite-Italie et du Marché Jean-Talon vous invitent à découvrir la richesse des recettes
et des produits des cuisines régionales italiennes aux mois de mars et avril 2012.
Du 19 au 25 mars, sur les tables des restaurants et dans les magasins, les clients pourront goûter et acheter les spécialités
culinaires et les produits gastronomiques de la région de Calabre. Du 23 au 29 avril, la Vénétie sera la région à l’honneur.
Cette manifestation gastronomique est organisée par la Société de développement commercial (SDC) Petite Italie –
Marché Jean-Talon, en partenariat avec la Corporation de gestion des marchés publics de Montréal, la Chambre de
commerce Italienne au Canada, la Fondation Magnani Montaruli et CIAO ITALIA - Association des restaurants italiens dans
le monde (chapitre: Amérique du Nord ).

Une sculpture d' Egidio Vincelli au Louvre

Egidio Vincelli, sculpteur, président de la West-Island Association et membre de la CIBPA depuis plusieurs année, a remporté le prix du jury de la Société Nationale de beaux Arts de Paris et son aouvre Radice sera exposé au Louvre in occasion de l'Exposition du Salon International.
Félicitation à M. Vincelli pour cet enrechissant accomplissement!

L'art de Léonard de Vinci exposé à Montréal

On Thursday, April 14, 2011 a press conference held at the Center Leonardo da Vinci divulged the activities and the exhibit on the Leonardo da Vinci machines that will take place from May 11 to June 5 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Unity of Italy.
The closing event will be a big FETE CHAMPETRE in front of the Center, on May 29, from 1 pm.

For a second year, CIBPA is a proud partner of CLASSES AFFAIRES, an innovative program encouraging young people to explore the labor market for secondary 3 and 4 students (14 to 17 years of age). It would be a one week stage during the summer at no cost to the employer. This would also encourage the students to discover employement prospects and skills essential to facilitate their eventual integration. This wouls help the students to continue with their studies. The mentors can come from a professional, technical or academic sector.

Italian Governement Scholarships for the academic year 2011/2012

The Government of Italy offers scholarships to Canadian citizens and Italian citizens residing in Canada (IRE) who wish to pursue studies in Italy.
They are intended for students, professionals, scientists, researchers, teachers, and artists who meet the necessary requirements.
Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age (see exception at “Language and Culture Courses for Teachers of Italian”)
The following types of scholarships are available:
- Short-term scholarships for language study
- Long-term scholarships
To be considered, candidates must submit an online application. The application deadline for both long-term and short-term scholarships is
